Wow, a 1/2 mary. I want to do an Ironman one day but I'd have to be able to run a marathon. Running is kind of my nemesis.

So far all of my goals have been weight related. I have accomplished all but on which is my main goal weight of 225, I'm at 229.

My "new goals" will be to compete in a 1/2 marathon that supports National Breast Cancer Research. They run it in February at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Should start training in June and might even decide to do the full marathon. Boy would that shock several people as I haven't ran (except for my mouth) in nearly 20 years.

Past that I haven't given much thought to other goals.

Okay, so last week I dropped enough to be at a Normal BMI. I've also made a lot of my intermediary goals and now have a bunch of new ones, mostly fitness related. I'll finish the last of my original goals next week when I complete a Sprint Triathlon.

What kinds of goals do you guys have and what have you accomplished so far?

We have the same surgery date 9/17/08.  I too have started eating "snacking" more.  I had to rid of the Fiber One bars and all snack foods and pick uo the protein, water, and complete meals.  Also, I have noticed that if I keep busy .... food is not an issue.  Good Luck, and keep up the spirits... remember everyday is a new day.
